Health and Safety?!

We went to a Lumberjack Competition this afternoon and watched as various teams used axes to cut up logs. There was also a chainsaw event where the competitors had to cut thin slices off a log in the fastest possible time and the wood had to be thin enough to pass through a gauge. Terrifying to watch as the men had no protection whatsoever. I was humming the Lumberjack Song all the way home.
