We went for a drive...

...and ended up at Toodyay, a town about an hour and a half NE of Perth. The canola has begun to flower so therefore , here we go again ;-)

It was a grey day but we were fortunate that we managed to dodge any showers. Toodyay is a pretty little town, old for Western Australia, and well cared for by it's citizens.  I have added a few more photos in extras, including the historical Connor's Mill. 

I think the Driver enjoyed his Fathers Day even though we didn't see any of the offspring. One is about 1000Ks north, one 350ks south and the third we saw last night. 

The Meerkat came with us and met many similar hounds on the main street of Toodyay. A good day.
