Maypole?

These cows remind me of trying with notable lack of success and much tangling of ribbons, to do Maypole dancing. I was at infant school and I think it was to impress our mothers on “Mothers Day” . ( I don’t  think Fathers got involved in those days.)
Well it was a long time ago. I think it was just a bit ambitious. 
Silly on numerous levels.
