Departure

After quite a lot of faffing with a suitcase that wouldn't close (L's latest purchase: £2 in Oxfam), we finally managed and were off. First to Craigdon for brunch on the way then to Waverley for L's first leg of her trip to France - she takes he Eurostar tomorrow. I was glad that we gave ourselves a lot of time because there was an incident on the bypass, which had to close both ways so all the roads into Edinburgh were jammed. K. joined us at the station to say goodbye to L. I don't know when we'll see L again, maybe Christmas, could be before then, or it could be May next year...
Then K. came back with me so that she could visit my mother-in -law in the care home. She was not quite as happy as last time we saw her, but she was pleased to see K.
