1928 Bentley

This morning I went to Home Park where lots of cars were gathering ready to drive into the Classic car show (The Concours  d’Elegance)at Hampton Court  Palace . This is a three day event held every year. Some notable cars are on show all three days and then on each of the days there are several makes on show and members of their owners clubs. Today seemed to be Aston Martins, MGs and Jaguars with a few other cars such as this very old Bentley. The cars range from very old to really quite new ones..the flashy latest models!
The extra shows a 1939 Jaguar…I thought the number plate was interesting. 

As ai cycled there I was interested to note that when the Aston Martins were lined up and in a queue to get into the palace grounds not only was there a real roar from their engines but the older ones were giving off lots of nasty fumes from their exhaust pipes!
I have visited the show in the past and it is a very nice event and not at all crowded usually.

After that I went to the allotment , lots of courgettes and runner beans needed picking. Then at home I tackled some more gardening, trimming ivy and part of a big Fatsia,

I’ve just watched a Cameron Norrie winning again at the US Open high is good.
