A good use of shells
Today I was going through my photos from my recent holiday in Alderney. Lots needed deleting as usual.
This is on the garden wall of a house called Fisherman’s Cottage which is quite near the lighthouse and which we pass each time we go to Alderney. It is near the house that used to be owned by the cricketer Sir Ian Botham. Apparently Ian first came to Alderney to visit the renowned commentator John Arlott and liked the fishing so much that he bought a house. There is a blue plaque outside John Arlotts House ( see extra)
