So Much Talent
B and I met H at the Hempstead Village Hall this morning for the start of their annual 2-day art fair. They had an impressive variety of work from local artists and crafts-folk on display. There seems to be an abundance of brilliantly talented people around this area and this art fair is always worth a visit. We treated ourselves to coffee and cake and here baking talent made the choice of which delicious cake to try difficult, in the end I settled for a slice of lemon drizzle cake and very good it was too.
This is All Saints' Church next to where we parked. I photographed this just a few days ago, see:

Such an attractive village and so friendly. M and I met some of the residents when we used to join in the annual toad patrol on the road alongside the pond on the outskirts of the village.
It was a very pleasant way to spend the morning.
