Nostalgia

There is a 'Steam Gala' taking place at the North Norfolk Railway this weekend.  B and I walked to Weybourne Station from Sheringham Park early this morning before it all got too busy to take a look.  All the interesting historical and technical information about the engines I'll leave to others to write about, instead I've edited a couple of photos that (for me at least) are an attempt to conjure up the nostalgia and romance of the steam era.  It's truly marvelous all the hard work done by the volunteers at the railway to enable us to enjoy the wonderful spectacle of these wonderful old workhorses beautifully restored so that we can enjoy them at their very best.
