A playful cat.

The Feast Day of Saint Gregory.
It has been quite a busy start to Paul's retirement. He received some lovely presents and cards.
We got up at 8:30am, had breakfast, and I went to buy our newspaper. That is when I saw this playful cat and it was loving and sweet natured, and rolling about, until it did some feline biting! I walked on and took a photo of the floral planter I have been looking after and watering all Summer. The cream dahlias continue to flower, orange French Marigolds and the red Busy Lizzies are looking lovely too.
Then after reading the paper we went for a short drive to B&Q to look for a new bathroom cabinet. There were none that suited our needs so on to The Range. from where we bought the current cabinet, but the drawers do not sit well when there are things in them. It is always a joy to browse in The Range and the Christmas shelves were being set out. We had a nice wander in the garden centre there and it was tragic to see the many dry plants that had not been watered for a long while. Food shopping this afternoon and then Escape to the Country. Pizza making this evening.
