Walkies with a Cat

A lovely calm day, but overcast.  This resulted in a day (and night) of midgies! 

Another day off, and up early.  Headed out walkies after getting the washing out.  I nipped down to Laura's in the late morning, and spent the afternoon there too.  An evening in the peat hill, and another load brought home.  A quick cuppa at Madeline's, finished our last walkies of the day, and an early night. 

Mam popped along Laura's too, and we headed to the Hoswick Visitor Centre for lunch.  A lovely lunch, and watched a pod of about 100 neesicks (Harbour Porpoises) play in the wick below the café.  After lunch, we had a stroll around the hamlet, with a friendly cat joining us for a while.  Mam and Laura waking along the back roads of Hoswick.
