Erraid
While I waited for the tide to turn I explored Scoor and found Scoor beach and Kilvickeon beach which we visited last year, the extra is Scoor beach which is probably quite easy to climb down to if you are so inclined. The main blip is the tidal causeway over to Erraid from Knockvologan, indescribably beautiful even when the weather is dreadful.
I spent the afternoon on Erraid walking up to the old lighthouse observatory the highest point on the island, en route I passed a labyrinth erected almost certainly by the Findhorn Community who are the current custodians.
A swim at Knockvologan on an incoming tide which meant the water was significantly warmer than yesterday, and a 5k beach run at Ardalandish rounded off the day. Running in spectacular scenery does not make it any easier.
