Stanton Lake

This morning we had another trip into Hinckley - W has been unable to change his address using the banking app, so had to visit the High Street branch to do this.  Interesting comment from someone waiting for the assistant that she "didn't want to waste time using the computer to do her banking" but is quite happy to queue for 30 minutes in the branch to talk to someone in person.

Then a trip to stock up on food, and 5 minutes spent back in our lodgings finding space for it all in the rather small fridge.

We booked a meal at the tapas restaurant by Stanton Lake for 5pm, so that we would have plenty of time to eat and still be able to walk back in daylight.  Disappointing bread basket starter - the oil and balsamic vinegar used for the dip were clearly poor quality.  The rest of the meal was ok, though not outstanding.

It's been another nice day with lots of sunshine, but as we left it was starting to cloud over and I liked this moody view over the lake.
