Emma

This is wine from Emma’s great grandfather’s land near the Delta de Ebro, south of Barcelona. The land and vinyard are managed by her many cousins but she still has an interest. Emma lives in the block of flats whose rear overlooks our patio and we have become neighbourly friends over the last year or two, after her dear husband, Luis, died (we knew him slightly).

Emma spent a couple of years in Kent as a young woman and has excellent English which she deploys intermittently but excellently, like a true English rose - Dd is always ‘Kate’ in her production! She’s a lovely lady in her very late seventies and had us in hoots on more than one occasion. We are due to visit a Turner exhibition up in the MNAC with her next week.
