The power of cardboard

Classic situation where Granny bought a new toy and she preferred the box.  In fact putting the new toy in the box and then taking it out. Like Eeyore.  

Today was all about clearing up and having a quiet day with B/C and I   Very peaceful.  I made panzenella for lunch and the aubergine with anchovy sauce from Diana Henry and then walked Ivy up the road in her push chair to look at the cattle, already in the barn being fed because there is no grass. 

Dropped them off later at the station and came home and watered like mad which takes, with feeding too, about an hour and half without the hose.  Certainly doesn’t need doing every day now the weather is cooler. I’m still saving grey water and using it to salvage various limp looking specimens.
