Birthday day 2

This time we had a barbecue party for 15 of us (if you count baby Ivy)   The weather behaved although Mum got a bit chilled which is why she’s wearing my fake Burebrbrry scarf bought in a Hong Kong market.  We missed @xtoph but at least had Kit and Lauren from the McHarwoods. Ivy met lots of new family and had a lovely time.   

The reality of parties here in a split level garden (got to keep the bbq away from the thatch) was that by bedtime I’d done 14000 steps, the equivalent of about 7 miles with only one actual walk, with Anthony to get the papers first thing.
