After brunch today I went to a garden tour and book signing. One local guy and one from Newfoundland wrote a book together, had it published, now they are promoting it. A friend of theirs, who has a beautiful garden hosted the tour. I have seen her gardens many times over the years. Another gardening friend plays the bagpipes and she was asked to play a couple of tunes.
I remember in Grade 6, the music teacher brought bagpipes one day. She was not very good on them. While she was in the classroom next door, my teacher stood by the closed connecting door and made fun of her playing. As a class, we were all laughing. I'm sure when he got home that night his wife was upset with him for doing that, since she was the regular teacher for the class next door.
