When I left the house this morning I was still trying to decide what direction to take. I ended up going to the Annapolis Valley and going further than my usual trips. I went to Margaretsville first, but it was foggy and cool there, so not good for taking photos. I decided to head back down to the valley and visit Oaklawn Zoo. The last time I was there was over 30 years ago.
I had a nice roam around, the temperature was a comfortable 23 C. It was hard to get photos of some things, if there were 2 fences between us. The deer only had one fence, and there was a corn dispenser nearby for people who wanted to feed them. The buck stayed in the woods, several of the young ones were at the fence wanting to be fed.
There are fireworks over the harbour tonight, so I am waiting for a friend to get here and we will go and find a spot to see them.
