OH went to watch an away game picking up No. 2 en route. I did some cleaning as we were drowning in cob webs! I’m not a cleaning fan (is anyone?) although I do like a tidy house. A cleaning hack popped up on FB suggesting reaching those difficult to clean areas with a tissue wrapped cocktail stick?!! Really - complete cba! I did once work with someone who would do that, she was a cleaning fiend and was always wet wiping the surfaces.

After cleaning I did a river walk then a quick visit to Sainsburys to buy a water filter as I had a discount voucher - only to find it was out of date. Dinner for one so I tried a recipe which I saw in the Telegraph today - halloumi with baked peaches - a couple of glasses of wine went down nicely.

Ordinary day but that’s ok.
