recipe for a miracle

This afternoon I went with D to a new exhibition at Gracefield Arts Centre, "Recipe for a Miracle" - botanically -inspired paintings by the Fife artist Kirsty Lorenz. I liked some of her simple watercolour studies, like the one I have photographed - I was  intrigued by the shadows and the pattern made  by the tie, but also just the simplicity of the painting. Other works were a lot larger and themed around medicinal plants. Kirsty was there when we visited so D was able to have a chat with her.

I went to visit Joe and Kim's cats afterwards and then cycled home. I have done some of the tasks on my list and have left some for tomorrow :-)
