Wet plot

We had a bit of rain yesterday. Well it was more like a drizzle but every little helps. I'm pleased to see my chamomile seedlings doing well around the bean tunnel - I plan to plant them across the plot in the autumn to have a variety of ground cover plants that cope better with heat than grass.

I've not seen the plot wet in a long time. My hip pain is agony and has kept me from watering for 2 days.

We're reaching the end of the growing season. I'm knackered, in desperate need of a holiday and a bit demoralised. The hosepipe ban has made things more difficult and aches worse. No rain forecast for the next week or so.
