I stopped for a short walk at Shubie Park this afternoon, I needed a few photos for a weekly challenge group on FB. This is one of the locks on the canal. They were used in the 1800's and early 1900's to move goods inland from the port of Halifax.
A short working day and no one wanted to move on to another job after the scheduled ones were finished around 12:30. I sat in the truck and ate my lunch, then decided to go over to clean up the raised bed at my new place. It's starting to fall apart, but I can use it to plant some of my daylilies for the winter. I may plant some garlic in between them.
