One of three
Washing finally out this morning and, with a much brighter and warmer day, it dried very quickly. We have sat in the garden for part of it but it did get too warm this afternoon. A supermarket trip for celebration provisions this morning - it was busy for a Friday morning, no doubt because of the Bank Holiday.
This afternoon we’ve done some tidying in the garden, including cutting the grass for the first time in about six or seven weeks. And planting two more Japanese anemones (like this one) that Dad has brought from the west. It’s all looking a bit tidier out there as a result and two thirds of the lawn looks like it is resurrecting.
It is International Dog Day today but Bailey has not been in a particularly cooperative mood. Both of his dog cousins will be here tomorrow, along with their respective families, so he will be beside himself.
