Change of plan

As I left the house for work this morning, I’d put a wash on and left a note for our visitors to put it out on the line when they got here. By that time it was raining heavily, had been for a few hours and would continue for a few hours more. The garden’s had a good drenching today which it will definitely benefit from.

GCSE results day today and we had a steady stream of students from eight. Some really good results and lots of happy students and parents. A few whose plans will have to change but generally next steps are as planned. Our department results were particularly pleasing for the staff and the students.

A team meeting once the majority had been in, planning for the first week and the year. A few jobs once that was done, including some calls. And then home to Mum and Dad and Bailey who had been pleased to have company for some of the day.
