Porch light…

Another day has flown by, and sitting on the sofa now, I could so easily drop off to sleep zzzz!

The rain yesterday seems already to have changed the straw in the garden back to grass and the plants are definitely more perky. The water butts taking rain from the conservatory gutters are full and others have a good few litres in them. So refreshing!

My extras are the snacks I didn’t eat while at the cinema yesterday evening. The movie Fisherman’s Friend, One and All was very good. Must listen to those sea shanties again. And the tomatoes Mavis gave me on Wednesday were so sweet and delicious they lasted no time at all.

Most important though, our youngest granddaughter was one year old today! How gorgeous she is! She gave us an enormous smile on FaceTime this morning!
