Baggin Paets 2022
The sun was up just before 6am, and remained sunny all day. A cooling breeze most of the day.
Up early, and early shift in the airport. I started on the check-in desk, 128 passengers before 9am. I've mostly been meeting and boarding flights, and the day remained busy. Headed to the peat hill after work. Walkies with Sammy, and then an early night.
The poor summer has been a tough one trying to work with my peats. Seems like every time I've had a chance to get to the peat hill, it was raining, this resulted in a late cast, late raising, and late turning. They have finally started to dry, and managed to bag up a trailer load this evening, with help from peerie Brian, and got them transported home. Hopefully get another fine night soon, and get more done. Me bagging peats at Hill of Fitch, Tingwall.
