Aberdour Shore

According to the account in the Book of Deer which featured in yesterday's Blip "Columba and Drostan son of Corscrach, his disciple came from Iona, as God had guided them, to Aberdour". So it is here on the shore at New Aberdour that St Drostan ' came off the sea" and brought Christianity to N.E. it must have been a tough voyage in a coracle Scotland. A well on the shore is known as St Drostan's Well.
