Rain!!

Thundered in the night and woke in the early hours to hear cars' wheels slushing on the road.  And looking out at shiny puddles. 

Stayed indoors and caught up with some paper admin, a bit of dusting and vacuuming.  Muggy and hot despite rain and open windows.
Ventured out in a rain lull to tale some photos and check if the pond had filled up.  It had.

Phoned a friend in the afternoon with a view to arranging  a meetup.

A catch up day.
