Reflections

Quick market shop for the weekend this morning

After lunch headed to Ely.  I bought a book for my friend's birthday next week.  I wanted to go into the cathedral but we'd have parted with £17 for both of us when previous visits had been free.  It was a further £11 to go up the tower.  In this current economic crisis are they likely to have many visitors.

Yesterday OH had visitors from Spain to show Cambridge sights to.  One Cambridge college wanted to charge £11 per person, £44 in total just to walk around the grounds without a guide.  No benefits as residents for 35 plus years.

The reflections caught my eye today.
