... two months of no real rainfall, today we had proper rain. 

Water butts looking healthy and ready to go if we get another dry spell. What a contrast to yesterday's blue sky.

I'm certainly glad it wasn't like this 49 years ago today,.Today is our wedding anniversary. Off out for a meal tonight to celebrate this amazing milestone!

Today we went to look at some log burning stoves, we only want a small one. The array of choices is mind-blowing. We will need them to come out and advise.

I then made a big spaghetti bolognaise for the girls and their families for when they get back from holiday on Saturday. It's always good to return home to a ready meal I think.

I'm adding an extra. Not taken by me, and not taken today, so I hope it's ok to add. We don't often manage to get all 5 Grands in one shot, well, not without one of them crying or not cooperating! Denim shorts rule.
