Exhaustion

Back blipped on Thursday 25th.

Despite the release of tension with exchange, I didn't sleep well on Monday night, and on Tuesday night I was slow getting to sleep, woke at 0300 and didn't really get back to sleep afterwards.  So I was good for very little.  I did manage to do a load of washing, and our host kindly let me through their house into the garden to hang it out.  It was almost dry by the time I had to bring it in in a hurry as we had a short rain shower.

Late morning, our conveyancer rang to confirm that the sale had completed, and shortly after my banking app pinged with a notification that a considerable sum of money had been paid into my current account!

I spent the rest of the day sitting with my feet up on the sofa (it's the only easy chair but it's a bed settee, a compromise that I find means it is not hugely comfortable as a sofa)

We had planned to have a meal out, but I was too tired, we settled for scrambled eggs on toast, and I retired to bed quite early.
