Langdon Manor
This morning Alice and I decided we were going to have a rest day. We went into Weymouth town, to check out our phones, and do a few odd jobs. Took a stroll down to the beach where there were a few children playing in the sand which is a lovely colour and fine. The sun was shining. We then met the train from London, and picked up Tom, Alice's youngest son, and we went back to Trish and Terry's for lunch. Tom is returning to NZ after being in UK for over 4 years. He has come down from London to say goodbye to his relations.
Later in the day we visited Alice's father and Maureen, and then went on to Langdon Manor at Beaminster. This is where Alice's husband Rob was brought up and farmed until they came to NZ. Rob's brother, Bill and Angie live there now, and you can can see them here with the dogs, Tom, and Alice. The bottom picture is from the Manor looking down over Beaminster.
