Thank heaven for friends

I was full of good intentions this morning. I said to my beloved husband that I was going out for a run tonight. The day was busy, dinner was later than planned, it was much colder than it looked and a run was probably the last thing I wanted to do.

Thank heaven for friends........as one had texted first thing and I had agreed to go for a run with her at 8pm. So I had no excuse! It was windier than it looked but the run along the canal into the setting sun was lovely (this is at the aquaduct) as was the downhill bit to the viaduct. That only left the return leg uphill. But when all was said and turn it was 4 miles more than I would have done if I had been on my own and a lovely catch up. Thank you.
