Eskdale

After a very very wet Wellness Walk out to the Haverigg sea wall it was over to Eskdale to meet fwg of blip fame and another test for the ankle recovery -  our plan to head out for a wild camp and hopefully some gentle scrambling.

The forecast wasn't great but the sky showed promise,  so after a delay helping a group of old folks who'd had a puncture on the Hardknott Pass (apparently brand new Range Rovers don't come with spare wheels) we headed up into Eskdale. At one point we could see the setting sun reflected in one of the many pools along the river and decided it was too good a a spot to leave.  Camp set and food cooked this was our view for supper.
And then the weather changed (as you can see in fwg's blip).....
