Morning walk

Bertie and I had a wander along the road and were very pleased when we were able to go off piste once we reached the track where we wanted to walk. I don’t know why, but the road was exceptionally busy and we had to keep stepping onto the verge to let cars and vans pass by as it is a single track road. 

I’ve noticed that Bertie, although he loves to sniff out smells, he also recognises that he is vertically challenged and loves to hop up onto a boulder or a tree stump. He will stay there for quite a bit, having a good look in all directions to have a good look to see if he has missed something while walking through the long grass. (Extra)
