Cottage garden. Anyone for tea?

I passed this garden on my way to the weed strewn patch formerly known as our allotment. As my sunflower photos were not very good I stopped on the way back to grab this image.

That, pretty much was the highlight of the day. We went out for a walk but the weather was not conducive to walking. Overcast and hot. We turned around and came home. We’re about to complete our walk now.

It’s our son’s 38th birthday today, we’re looking forward to talking to him this evening

Booked a few nights in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, to attend a Ukulele Festival there on 15th October. The uketockers will be having a strumalong as well as there being a fine collection of proper musicians. Looking forward to seeing the area.

Having read this, it is now apparent rather more happened than I thought. We also booked a short break in Bute for next July. We’ve an invitation to a wedding there and thought we’d better get in early with the accommodation.
