Digging a hole

Couple of young chaps came round to Doreen’s this morning to try and repair the mains water leak in her garden. Despite hard graft and a 4 foot deep hole they didn’t get to the pipe. It must be much further down. They will be back later in the week with some mechanical assistance. Failing that they said they will use a mole to put in a whole new pipe. Good job we’re having this done on the insurance.

Apart from that excitement we booked flights to California for January to see Chris. This time we’re flying with Virgin Atlantic to Los Angeles rather than BA. We were disappointed by BA last April so thought we’d try a different airline. Virgin was cheaper too.
