Beetroot

Whatever challenges the growing season throws at you, you can always rely on good old beetroot for productive crops. 

I've just picked this giant orange one which I've roasted and diced. It made a very tasty side dish, incredibly sweet and earthy.

I'm the only person who likes beetroot in our house so it'll take me a while to get through this small bed but luckily I have a lot of friends to share my bountiful harvest with.
