A curtain of cosmos

It rained quite a lot today, not heavily but steadily which is apparently the best.  There’s not much in the wheelbarrow or water butt so I am not entirely convinced but I managed to skip the watering when i got off the US call this evening. 

Zipped over to Petworth at lunch time to take back a shirt rejected by Mum for party wear.  Turns out they don’t accept returns - oh well, fancy credit note…
