another photo shoot

The baby I just shot with her father turned half a year old today so I've been asked to do another photo shoot. :-) Tomorrow

On Tuesday, Ukrainian bomber planes took out three Russian drones and one helicopter. The helicopter is known as an "alligator." The daytime attack included up to 10 group airstrikes on Russian troops.

This, of course, comes after Ukraine took out more Russian aircraft in one day than has happened since WWII. They knocked out over half of Russia's Black Sea fleet combat jets. Thank you Russian vacationers in Crimea, for your social media posts exposing Russian air defenses. 

Speaking of social media posts revealing Russian secrets, there was an interesting piece on 60 Minutes on Bellingcat, an organization that uses online resources to track Russian war crimes. In 2014 someone shot down Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 and killed 298 people. Bellingcat used social media to track down the missile and determined it came from Russia. Some of the social media was from Russian soldiers. Russia then passed a law outlawing Russian soldiers from carrying-- mobile devices during hostilities, which is dubbed in Russia “the Bellingcat law.” 

Last week Estonia removed a Russian monument. Tomorrow Latvia will do so.
