Red Kite...

... at the owl, raptor and reptile centre. 

I had a wonderful day with my son and his family - entranced by the birds and fascinated by the conservation stories that accompanied the flying display. I took more than 1,000 photos and have managed to cull a quarter of them on first go through. Most I've not looked at properly but I particularly enjoyed the red kites, so have made them the subject of my blip. 3 more in extras - I'm sure you'll all have your own favourite. When I've looked at them all in greater depth, I may well post a different bird in 'My Third' journal.
