Rusty Metal Box

I walked to Wetherby this morning to go and get some bits of shopping - by the time I left the supermarket I had covered 4.8 miles. I then caught a bus back home which cost me £3.40!!!

On the way to the shops I spotted this rusty metal object in the line of trees bordering the A1. It appears to have been some sort of box, as it looks there were rubber feet on the bottom (right hand image)…although only one remains. The top of the box is in the left hand image - it appears to have some sort of wire or tether screwed to it.
