New steps

In honour of the Sacre Coeur steps I photographed three years ago I thought I'd photograph some Edinburgh steps, and these seemed as good as any. Just around the corner, the new but as yet unopened, Murrayfield tram station. Sunny day here in Edinburgh. Strange to think that three years ago I was in a sunny Paris, spending the day in Montmartre, including the shady calm of the cemetery, an evening meal in what would become a favourite restaurant in the Places des Vosges and then a picnic in the Champs de Mars watching the lights on the Eiffel Tower.
