Golden rod

Seems to have been a long time  coming into flower.. Has been at the 'almost'stage for some weeks.
A day of catching up on housework, cleaning floors and other boring but necessary stuff.
Cooked chicken in the air fryer.  Like learning to drive a car!
I need to make notes to save time turning pages in the instructions book.
I'm sure I will get the hang of it.
It was a successful meal, with the vegetables cooked in the microwave.  Things have moved on since my mother did all her cooking on a paraffin stove and kitchen range.
