Surprise gift

My Brazilian neighbour called this morning to give me this box of lavender  soap she has just made.  As it is her first attempt she would like feedback.  I thought the presentation was beautiful.  She is a very talented artistic lady.  She and her husband are very friendly and caring.

With the nights getting darker earlier I have once more got my knitting needles out.  I am a bit bored with making red hats for new borns at the hospital, so have started a pram blanket for a friend whose church sends them to Rumania.  Smaller than the knitted squares blankets I normally do for her but more intricate.  Just hope it doesn't aggravate my 'trigger' finger, as knitting probably caused it in the first place.
