Hohe Domkirche Sankt Petrus

Back to Ireland today after a couple of fun days in Cologne with my daughter. This is the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter - the third tallest church in the world. Construction began in 1248 and it was completed in 1880. Imagine working on a project knowing that not only would you would never see its completion but neither would your children, nor your grandchildren.
