Red Admiral

Walked over the fields again this morning to say hello to the Herefords (extra).  They might have been my main blip but I decided on the red admiral.  I haven't blipped a butterfly since the spring as there are just so few around.  Although it's not a brilliant shot it is a record of one butterfly on a buddleia bush.

Back for a Community Council re-grouping meeting.  I feel bad as I'm going to miss the first public meeting after the summer.  Despite a summer break there have  still been things happening and there's lots to look forward to as well.

A lovely time yesterday.  I was given some *very* early birthday presents including a new pair of secateurs.  Looking forward to some pruning and cutting back this afternoon.
