Flaked out!

Today really was a particularly hot and sticky one. After a morning of not much flaked out with Nohut (extra), I took the bus to Ortakoy late afternoon for a wander - the Bosphorus is always a beautiful sight (extra) the sea front was very very crowded, though this street woofer found space for a nap and was left alone to zzzz in the heat.

Bus back to Arnavutkoy early evening where Sarah and I went for dinner at a local place I haven't been to before Zırdeli Meze. Delicious is an understatement of the wonderful Turkish cuisine mezzes that were on offer. My first visit, and definitely not my last. Also in the extras is one of the Ottoman wooden houses in the village - extraordinary and still lived in!
