High Falls Gorge

Today we visited High Falls Gorge. A very short walk to view the waterfalls. Later, back at Mirror Lake, we did a one hour peddle boat ride. Not that easy to do, in some spots we would keep pedaling and we barely moved. We may take a ride to Saranac Lake tonight for dinner. Tomorrow we head back home. 
Here you see signs of fall already emerging. Here and there there is a tree that has started to turn color already. I asked our host when does winter begin here and he said usually in October. Way too early for me, we barely start see the leaves turning color in early October. I don’t think I could deal with such long winters. Visiting in the summer and autumn though is nice…
