Saranac Lake

We took the long way home.  Hubby likes to take the scenic routes when we have the time, especially when we are coming back from upstate. We stopped at Saranac Lake, not to far from Lake Placid and watched the Canada Geese take their morning baths. Then we stopped at an antique shop near Lake George and we had lunch at Saratoga Springs, famous for the horse race track there ( although we did not go to the track, it was too muggy out for any sightseeing) It was a little after 7 when we got home and I can’t wait to sleep in my own bed tonight..
