St Bega's Church, Bassenthwaite
This morning we did a short walk to this sweet little church which dates back to pre-Norman times. Here's some more information about the church. St Bega was reputedly an Irish princess who became an an anchoret, a kind of religious hermit. Here’s more about her:

We went back to A's for lunch and it then poured with rain, so we were very pleased that we hadn't gone for a longer walk.
There are extras of Flora and Florence (who has more white than Flora). The is also a dog, Flossie. I think I've got them more or less sorted out now, but even A gets them muddled sometimes.
